A Major Confusion
AI is developing rapidly, while I am a process-oriented person who enjoys the creation itself, rather than just the end result.
Here is the problem.
I cannot figure out a clear path to integrate AI into my creative process without losing the essence of what I enjoy about creating. (Even the words here are generated by AI, which makes me feel conflicted. I’m not proficient in English, so I rely on AI to help me express my thoughts more clearly.)
The only way I can naturally accept AI as a helper today is through self-education. I can feel the beauty of knowledge and the happiness that comes after acquiring it. But this is exactly a result- or object-oriented approach. Maybe I need to switch my mindset to a more objective-oriented approach, where the focus is on the final product rather than the process. But that feels like a betrayal of my own values.
Shall I change my mindset to embrace AI as a tool for enhancing the final product, or should I continue to prioritize the process and find ways to integrate AI without compromising my creative integrity?
I’m going to explore the former approach first, as it seems more aligned with the current technological landscape. I do not know when I will eventually find a balance between the two approaches. I will keep an open mind and see where this journey takes me.
“Cogito, ergo sum.”
In the era of AI, is “Cogito, ergo sum” still relevant?
